Where It All Started

Hi, I’m Will — founder of Revive Rewire.

I grew up around the building trade. My dad was a builder who ran large projects, and from an early age, I saw what responsibility and pride in workmanship really looked like.

During school holidays, I’d sometimes head to the site with him. Being around live jobs — seeing problems solved properly and standards upheld — set the benchmark for how I approach my own work today.

Learning the Trade

After school, I trained as a residential electrician and learned the trade alongside my grandad, who was a tester at the time.

Watching how he worked — methodical, professional, and always taking pride in doing things properly — had a big influence on me early on. It reinforced the importance of planning work carefully, testing thoroughly, and never cutting corners.

Even now, we still talk about the trade and the standards expected. Those conversations continue to shape how I work today.

Seven Years In — and Focused on Doing It Right

I’m now seven years into the trade and still genuinely enjoy the work. I’ve gained experience across both domestic and commercial projects and stay fully up to date with current wiring regulations.

Today, my focus is on safety-critical work such as full rewires, fuse board replacements and EICR testing, where attention to detail and compliance really matter.

After years in the industry, one thing became clear: homeowners don’t just want electrical work done — they want reliability, clarity, and trust.
